Our history
NvYA Technology was founded in 2016 to provide world-class IT services at a very reasonable cost. Our lineage as a company goes back to February, 1995 when we co-founded The Rock Island Group, which became Oklahoma’s first IT network management company and was subsequently sold to Williams Communications. We then set out to found and create Oklahoma’s premiere data center co-location company, Perimeter Technology Center, which is now part of TierPoint Oklahoma.
The word NvYA is a Native American word for “Rock” which refers back to our genesis from The Rock Island Group. At NvYA, we work to develop lasting relationships with our customers to earn their trust; our mantra at NvYA is to “Do what you say you’re going to do– every time, no excuses!” Our differentiating quality is that we want to be our customer’s “partner” and not just another vendor.

our Oklahoma Leaders
Stan Chase
Senior Vice President, Oklahoma
Stan served as Chief Executive Officer for NvYA Technology, LLC, now SVP of Oklahoma for Ascend Technologies. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the growth in Oklahoma as well as working with clients. Stan has co-founded multiple technology start-ups including The Rock Island Group in 1995 and Perimeter Technology Center in 2002, which became Oklahoma’s premiere data center provider, which was sold in 2011 to Cequel 3 in St. Louis.
Stan holds his Master and Bachelor degrees from Southern Nazarene University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City and Leadership Oklahoma. Stan is the past Chairman of the Board for NewView Oklahoma and serves on numerous other boards. Stan served over 24 years in the Oklahoma National Guard and retired as Lieutenant Colonel; during his military career, he graduated from the U. S. Air Force Intelligence School, U.S. Army Artillery Officer Basic Course, Artillery Officer Advanced Course, Combined Arms Services Staff School, and the Command and General Staff College. Stan has been married for over 35 years; he and his wife have one son. He also enjoys travelling with his wife, playing golf, snow skiing, reading, and various other sports.
Brad Thomas
Vice President, Oklahoma
Brad was a co-founder and served as President and COO for NvYA Technology, LLC., now VP of Oklahoma for Ascend Technologies. Brad has co-founded multiple technology start-ups including Anodyne Technologies, Perimeter Technology Center, Shawke and NvYA Technology.
Brad is a former board member for the Oklahoma City American Diabetes Association and the Oklahoma Arthritis Foundation. Brad has been married for over 21 years and has four daughters. He enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, reading and generally anything related to technology.
Greg Massey
Vice President, Oklahoma Operations
Greg served as Chief Technology Officer for NvYA Technology, now VP of Oklahoma Operations. Previously, Greg served as Oklahoma State Director of IT for Apollo Group for ten years. As a Director, Greg provided IT leadership for major company events and executive support functions.
Greg graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in 1994 and brings more than 20 years of IT customer service experience to NvYA Technology. Greg lives in Tuttle with his wife and one daughter.
Jeff Garrett
Business Development Executive
Jeff serves as a Business Development Executive and Account Executive for Ascend Technologies. He is responsible for building lasting relationships with the business community that will last for years to come.
Jeff has been in technology his whole life and has owned and operated multiple businesses in his career. He lives in the Tulsa area and is based in our Tulsa office, where he continues to strategically expand the NvYA footprint.
Jeff has been married for 20 years and he has 2 kids. He enjoys anything outdoors, hunting, traveling, music and being involved in his local community.
